Seminar on Non-invasive Cerebral Stimulation in Neural Rehabilitation (Institut Guttmann - Fundación BBVA Chair of Biomedicine)

Organiser: Institut GuttmannTheoretical and practical sessions for rehabilitation and neuroscience professionals. Results from the latest research and how to apply this technique in clinical practice will be presented. With non-invasive cerebral stimulation the neural network is electrically activated in certain zones. The treatment is used in depression, motor function disorders or speech alteration, among others.

Session on Quality and accreditation of services in care provision

Organiser: Fundación Edad&Vida with the collaboration of Applus+Recommendations on applying a state-wide management model for quality and accreditation of services in care provision. The current status by Autonomous Community will be analysed and examples from other countries will be presented.

Organiser: Fundación Edad&Vida and the Department for Social Action and Citizenship of the Catalan Government.The provision associated with the Law on Dependency requires new services. The increase in demand implies investments to which private initiative can commit if a clear and stable operating framework is established. The session sets out the models for collaboration between the public and private sectors to guarantee long-term sustainability of the system.
