Seminars and conferences
Information, training and the exchange of experiences on the business management of dependency-sector services, the occupational integration of the disabled, accessible tourism, new technologies for the disabled and the latest developments in the rehabilitation of spinal injuries and brain stimulation, amongst other topics. Altogether, almost one thousands delegates took part in the Avante 2008 seminars.

"The Avante Home"
This recreated the rooms in a 112m2apartment that was completely adapted and equipped with products and technologies to guarantee accessibility, safety, comfort and independence for disabled or dependent people.
Coordinated by La Salle with the collaboration of the ONCE Foundation, Vodafone, Grohe, Oihana Pardo, Wissner Bosserhoff, Bticino and JR Sistemas de Seguridad.

R&D&i Area
An area for technological innovation and networking. Companies, technology development centres and universities presented their products, applications and prototypes for use in the health and welfare sectors and in the domestic sphere. Coordinated by Tic Salut.
